ARCHITECTURAL SOLUTION:
The urbanistic-architectural solution was done based on the Investor`s project program and the requirements for protection of the central core of Zemun issued by The Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments.
The building is set on the construction line with stressed motives at the corner and parts of entrances into the business area. These stressed points are done with balconies above the entrances and a terrace with a glassed, transparent structure at the corner of the building. The building has a ground floor, first and second floor and an attic. The ground floor is designed as a sales area with eight shops. The entrance is over the windshield into the hall with a reception. Vertical communication, in the form of a staircase and an elevator, leads from the hall to other floors. There is a structural facade at the corner of the building, as well as on the part of the south passageway.
Total area of the building is 1,609.48 m²
MATERIALIZATION:
All external walls are done as a sandwich, with the necessary layer of thermal insulation which satisfies the calculation of thermal protection.
All internal walls are made of hollow bricks, d=12cm or d=7cm, in the compo mortar with single AB beam, all painted with compo mortar and finished with wall paint according to the Investor`s wishes.
The structural system is skeletal with seismic canvases, all in AB; inter-floor structure is cross-reinforced; roof structure is also a slant AB plate, all is done in ordinary panels, except for the plastic on the facade, which is done in smooth panels.
Windows and doors on the facade are from anodized aluminum glassed with thermopane glass.
Floors were designed and made, depending on the purposes of the rooms, from marble, carpets, parquet, ceramic tiles.
The building is covered by copper tin on boards, grooves are also made of copper tin.
The external walls finishing is with artificial stone.
